Picked up a new desk chair this weekend, Knoll (Charles) Pollock Executive chair. Kind of the chromed-out 1100 of mid-century-designed office furniture. Even more important than the chrome, however, is the comfort. I think this unit was manufactured in the late ’80′s, but the foam is still supportive and the upholstery looking good. Total score!
“Art and games allow us to stand aside from the material pressures of routine and convention, observing and questioning.”

Yes. Hence they are two of my favorite things.
Well, these guys are (finally!) done! I’ve been meaning to finish these up for awhile (found some tweets from early July where I was talking about them being almost finished!) but other things took priority and then I kind of forgot about ‘em. That said, I’m pretty pleased with the final product.
Anyway, now you can show your commitment to opulent living even when you’re sitting at your desk and not cruising on your scraper bike. A set of money-themed icons for you to totes trick out your desktop, files, folders, you name it. If you like any of the images and want to use them for something else (or want to commission something similar), drop me a line and we can work something out! In the meantime, see download links below, and enjoy! The icons are free but you can tell people they were expensive.

I always get stoked when new Perfume singles and PVs come out. I love these girls and their videos are usually really creative. This one is super charming.
Didn’t mean to take a hiatus from blogging, but I guess I did there, huh? Anyway, been super busy and posting a retrospective would be even less interesting for me than it would for you! Har Har. I will mention that I got a full-time job doing graphic design at Athletics.
It’s been a great (but busy!) few weeks, so I’m super behind on projects. I did find time in there to can some homemade pickles, though. I can assure you, they are the absolute best pickles I have ever tasted. No joke.
Went to the art supply store and bought some new pencils, etc.! Really feeling 0.7mm lead for sketching. I got the Draft-Tecs specifically for pocket-carrying (the lead sleeve retracts into the body, pretty cool) at my day job. Also, thanks to Leah for the Sharpie pen. Somehow I missed those and it is really nice. The Ticonderogas are actually not as easy to find as one would expect. Most places have cheaper, poor imitations instead. Better tools don’t make you better, but they make making things even more enjoyable.
